I bought this, God knows why but it's sat about doing nothing for ages so if anyone can make use of it......

Standard Fender neck pocket, neck long gone.

forgive my ignorance, but where is the original 50s style pickup cutout ?

is it the rounded one just where the sticker touches ? or did it have a 57 style pickup originally, like a Dirnt mode

the middle one is the P pickup slot I think, it didn't have the small pickup originally.

If you put a regular Precision split-coil pickguard on this, would it cover up the extra routing around the pickup? If so I'm interested!

Look at the second pic with the black guard on, it won't cover it I'm afraid.

I was talking about a standard 60's type guard. They have about 17mm of guard south of the pickup route, which might [i]just[/i] cover up the gap from the single coil...
