Cheap Hard Case - Any Thoughts On These?

I'm after a cheap-ish hard case for a J-bass.

I've got a couple of other decent cases (genuine SKB Fender+Gator TSA), so this is only really for home storage, and maybe the odd ride out in the back seat of the car!

Ideally, I'd be after a used genuine Fender one, but failing that, saw this -

Not sure if it's just a lot of rubbish, and it's better stored in the gig bag?

I bought one of the cheap ABS cases https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stronghold-Rectangular-Bass-Guitar-Black/dp/B006F9T0W4. that brand doesn't seem to be available any more but I suspect they are all the same and badged, the Thomann version looks identical. I had some initial reservations about the hinges but four years on it pretty much looks like new, much tougher than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one

You might want a quick look on the Flightcase Warehouse website. Apart from the usuals they also do Spyder cases which are good value. I bought rather nice tweed cases for Les Paul style guitar and an ES335 for £50 each. Not tried a bass case though.

50 quid is about the going rate for a used Hiscox Liteflite (thats certainly what i paid for the last one i bought used)
