Zoe_BillySheehan Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Hey everyone, Long time no type! I was just wondering if anyone knew the best budget fuzz pedal. Something a little EHX Big Muff-Esque? Cheers! Zoe Quote

The pedals voice has more low end and mid-range than something like the Big Muff too, so it sits in the mix better. You can pick them up new for about £40, less if you buy used. ricksterphil Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 The Chowny Fuzzster gets good reviews and some love on here. It's 50 quid ish too and looks well cool http://chownybass.com/product/fuzzster-bass-fuzz-pedal/ Quote
dannybuoy Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 (edited) Looks like the EBS FuzzMo is being discontinued and they are being blown out at ridiculous prices around £40 (they were over £120 new): http://www.ebay.co.u...s-/172421144811 There's a thread on here with many happy buyers jumping on them recently - seems like a decent pedal that never took off due to lack of hype/marketing I guess. Once all stock has gone you'd easily be able to sell it for £50 or more used, so you have nothing to lose! EHX Bass Big Muffs pop up used for cheap also. If it's more overdrive/distortion you might seek rather than fuzz, good budget options apart from the TC MojoMojo are the Joyo Orange Juice and Golden Face: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq9CDL4Jdyo Edited July 6, 2017 by dannybuoy Quote

gs_triumph Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Fuzzmo is definitely one to try. Does everything from sizzle to seriously gritty and has a blend control. Bargain! Thinking about getting a second... 🤔 Quote
The D Man Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I got my EBS Fuzzmo yesterday, its a lot of fun and feels like a tank too. Was £42 on Amazon, pretty sure i got the last one though! Quote
CameronJ Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I'm still curious about a Chowny Fuzzster, even though I already have a Joyo Orange Juice and an SA Aftershock! So no need for it really, just irrational pedal GAS Quote
Japhet Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I've got the Chowny Fuzzster. Cracking little pedal (imo). Quote

The D Man Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I've not had chance to crank the volume up with it yet, we've booked a studio Thursday, I can't wait Quote
