Hi all,

Seen this Status up for sale for £750 and wondered if anyone had had any experience with one?

I've always wanted a Status bass, and want to see whether this is a good deal or not!

I own a black one... Its the four string accomplice to my 5 string Empathy. I love them both equally and if you consider the empathy is many times the price that's a big compliment. Go for it! before it disappears into my collection...

I have had one or two of these in the past. I paid about £550 for mine maybe six or seven years ago, so the price you suggest probably isn't too far off the mark.

I recall them having a great slap tone and playing well. Very much a middle-of-the-road Status, good at everything.
