jimmy36
Hallo. What pedals does John Patitucci use? thanks...
toneknob
You can see his current Elektric Band pedal board in this video, it's pretty basic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6C9G-4-Kmo Also around 3m20s you can see him get his cable futzed around his pedals just a like a normal person. lowdown
@3:28., They all step up and play so casually at the speed of light... Fabulous musicianship from top players.
ambient
I think he just uses a reverb pedal and a radial tone bone. He's an Aguilar endorsee, so maybe look on their website.

We all left like
HazBeen
ISP Beta preamp pedal to the right me thinks, not a Tonebone The left pedal strikes me as a TC Hall of Fame, then a Flashback Delay....??
Bass is the place
Hallo. What pedals does John Patitucci use? thanks...
Patitucci's sound comes from his fingers. The effects pedals he uses are almost irrelevant imo.
Chris2112
As an academic point, his pedals are of interest. Tone-wise, I have never found him to have a particularly distinctive tone or style. Even when he was playing Ken Smith bass guitars, his tone wasn't hugely identifiable.
SpondonBassed
How many pedals can Patitucci's spider use simultaneously though? Edited July 11, 2017 by SpondonBassed
HazBeen
To a large extent very true indeed, for everyone including JP. I view effects as a condiment, not meat and veg. That is in the fingers. But I do like some sauce and olives
Patitucci's sound comes from his fingers.
