lukeward2004
...and bought myself a lovely Sire v7 5 String Jazz - people told me I have been spoilt with the quality and finish of my Warwicks, but this thing doesn't disappoint. I can't put it down! Aside from looking absolutely gorgeous, it has a HUGE tonal pallette - everything you did ever expect to hear from a jazz bass and much more. The preamp is awesome and I'm still in shock at how little this thing cost me. It's a bloody revelation - I can't fault the finish or the fit, if I didn't know better I'd put this in the same bracket as a top notch USA Fender or Musicman bass. Just a post to say I'm pretty chuffed with it

walshy
Looks epic! The exact one I had picked out to buy but last minute saw a Dingwall Combustion 5er for a good price so bought that. Have to say it looks like a beauty! Lots of good things being said about these, price is so good too!
ZilchWoolham
Peeking at your signature I'm now interested to know how it compares to a '75 Jazz! Seems especially pertinent what with Marcus Miller's love for that model and decade.
lukeward2004
It's a totally different animal to a 75 jazz, but the preamp makes it - so much control! There's no easy way to dial that in your face miller Tone on the 75, with the Sire it almost defaults to it
Fisheth
I'd love one of these, especially one of the new P styled basses that are coming. I keep hearing really good things about them! HNBD.
Cato
I think my next purchase is probably going to be a maple board fretless V7.
