KHDK - Abyss - Bass Distortion

Well, this bad boy just appeared on my radar this morning. A very dear friend of mine introduced me to Alex who I understand has played a big part in the design of this drive pedal. On a personal note, he's a experienced musician who knows his stuff about bass gear as well as being a thoroughly nice guy.

For the drive, I'm looking forward to getting my paws on one as I am very particular about the drives I choose, especially as I am a massive fan of having separate levels for both dirt and clean signals rather than just a limiting pan knob.

I think I'm up your way from Monday to Wednesday. My band is recording at Titan Studios in Watford. Not sure how correct I am in assuming that's near you.

It sounds cool, but am holding my judgement open until I get to hear one in the real world. Bit muddy at hi-gain settings perhaps..

Rather than starting a thread from scratch... Did anyone get one of these, and get on with it? Didn't catch my attention first time round, but it seems quite interesting.
