Dep for Stax/Motown band

Just a feeler at the moment but I might need a dep for a gig in Kent on 2nd September. The set is mostly Stax and Motown classics. If anyone is interested pm me and we can have a (bass) chat.

I wouldn`t be able to do it but would be interested in seeing the band, love that stuff, do you do anything Herts/Beds/Bucks/Essex way at all?

We're mainly in Kent and South East London, but if you know of any venues in your manor let me know.

More to the point, how do you get your strings to follow the curve in the neck of of your bass?

Is this a variant on fanned frets?

I left it near a radiator and it's never been the same.
