I replaced the EMG pickups and electronics as I feel the Bartolini/Audere combination is warmer, plus I find the 4-band EQ very useful, but there is still a ton of sustain as with all Modulus basses. Shipping preferably arranged by buyer, or can meet in person within 60 miles of Oxford. Includes hard case (not Modulus) Quilted maple top, blue finish Contoured double-cutaway alder body 35” scale, 24 fret, bolt-on carbon fibre neck Phenolic Fretboard Weight: 8.84lb (4.02kg) Neck width at nut: 1 ⅜” (34.9mm) Overall string width at nut: 1 ¼” (31.75mm) String spacing at nut: ½” (12.7mm) Overall string width at bridge: 2 ¼” (57.2mm) String spacing at bridge: ¾” (19mm) Bartolini soapbar pickups (Original EMG pickups included in sale) Audere Pro Z 4-band preamp - 3 stacked knobs: Volume/Pickup Balance with centre detent High/Low Mid Tone Controls with centre detents High Mid 750 Hz +/- 10 dB Low Mid 250 Hz +/- 10 dB Treble/Bass Tone Controls with centre detents Bass 180 Hz +/- 16.0 dB Treble 3.2 KHz +/- 18.0 dB. Runs on 18 volts (2 x 9V batteries) for greater headroom. The 4th knob is unused and is a dummy Edited July 9, 2017 by neilmurraybass
E sharp Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 (edited) These are lovely basses Neil . Is the ramp with the bass too? Also liking the Eden rig - I still have mine . Is that a 610 XLT? Edited July 7, 2017 by E sharp
Chris2112 Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 That is lovely. A four string Quantum is a rare thing too!
neilmurraybass Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017
These are lovely basses Neil . Is the ramp with the bass too? Also liking the Eden rig - I still have mine . Is that a 610 XLT?
Thanks! The ramp could come with it - took it off for photos - it's constructed from layers of black gaffer tape, not wood. I have the Eden rig but get little chance to use it; I have two 2x12 cabinets wit a Navigator preamp and WT1000 power amp.
neilmurraybass Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 As seen in photos, but not mentioned, is a Hipshot Bass Xtender (detuner) on the E string.
