darkandrew Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 (edited) Tony Pettitt, from Fields of the Nephilim and the Eden House, talks about his Warwick SS2, his influences and his music, and says "you know" rather a lot. http://youtube.com/watch?v=MpL5ZrZ1ODI Edited July 8, 2017 by darkandrew Quote
darkandrew Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 (edited) One of the guys he references is this guy - Gil Scott-Heron; don't know why I'd never heard of him before - I might have to find out a bit more about him. http://youtu.be/OET8SVAGELA Edited July 8, 2017 by darkandrew Quote

Dandelion Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I own the guitar used to record the "Zoon" album. I bought it from John Carter. Quote

I also saw them when they did a one-off show at the Astoria about 10 years ago, with Gary Numan's guitarist (Steve Harris) on guitar but I didn't recognise any of the other band members, and while it was OK it was nothing like the old Nephilim. I've not seen them since Tony returned but I have seen Tony with the Eden House and he's still got it. Quote
Woodinblack Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I saw them last year, solstice gig, and it was the best they had been in years, in fact better than most of the early gigs. Quote

He came up with some cracking basslines... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UbiNKU227Y It's a bit uber-goth for me these days, but back in the backcombing days..... Quote
