kevvo66
Hiya peeps, just wondering if there a good tool available that will do the one jobs fits all,as I keep misplacing the dodgy keys I've gotten supplied in the past with my basses Cheers Kev Sorry I may posted this in the wrong topic area😱 Edited July 8, 2017 by kevvo66
T-Bay
Any decent make will do, I like Beta, partly due to a local place stocking them at sensible money. Snap on are good but expensive. Old makes like Draper now just buy in bulk from China and rebrand so are often not the best quality.
fftc
PB Swiss are decent. http://www.pbswisstools.co.uk/index.html
Adethefade
I think the biggest problem with hex keys is when people don't appreciate that there are metric & imperial sizes. Sometimes, using the wrong type can mean you're using a key that's almost the right size, but not quite.
T-Bay
Another vote for beta, my set are over ten years old now and see a lot of use on all sorts of things and they are still good. As said above, makes like draper are not reliable anymore and it's worth paying a few quid more usually.
