I asked and the black Tele bass with Thunderbird pickup (most recent pic on the Facebook group) would be circa £600.
Also looks like he sources the parts used based on the requirements of the customer, so they're not all necessarily from the same place.

I'm not sure about that, bit cynical, I think they're being quite upfront about everything:

Sales patter's sales patter - but I'm sure most people on BC appreciate that "forgotten" and "unwanted" basses & guitars are typically the ones that are, well, a bit rubbish. And I doubt what he's selling is actually recycled throwaway junk - at least I hope not.

I may be being a [i]bit[/i] cynical but I went through all the pics on the FB page - when I encountered the relic'd Strat fitted with Teisco gold foil pickups, I cringed so hard I nearly blacked out.

In its way it's a bit like that deranged Ebay experiment artist who causes so much combined amusement & dismay in the Weird & Wonderful thread.

I think he worked for a guitar builder in japan pre Feeder called combat guitars.

I love mine! Taka is a good guy, everything turned out as I wanted it to and I could not be happier! I'd order another one if I wasn't broke as f*ck right now! His "Bass IV" are tempting (bass VI shaped Longscale 4stringers)

I saw a couple of three for sale recently, around about the £500 second hand but how much are they new? 

No prices on the Facebook page and I am very much tire kicking at this point 😂
