cd_david Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) Overwater Progress II Built originally as a Fretless for me in 1993 this has an ebony board but I decided against Fretless after a while and had it fretted. It still possesses a certain character of a Fretless with pronounced upper mids. It's a Birdseye Maple top on Walnut body which I suppose helps the Fretless tone a great deal with a 5 piece maple thru neck. It's been played so much the pickups are shiney and even worn through the top colour slightly in small areas. Again a total player. Has the OVW Tone, Tone, Volume Pan active circuit. The neck is so slim it's comparable to a Geddy Jazz Nice and silent also with balanced jack or xlr out.
