Floyd Pepper
I've waited until there was more public information but I was concerned to see Norman Watt Roy leave the stage mid-song last night at a Wilko gig looking rather unwell. According to messages from his technician this morning, it does appear that NWR had a suspected heart attack but is OK and recovering in hospital. If any one in the community has any connections with Norman, please pass on my best wishes and here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

BassYerbouti
I was at the gig last night and managed to get up close to watch the great man's technique - he is amazing and must have burnt a few thousand calories wrestling those beautiful tones out of his bass. Wishing him a speedy recovery

bassintheface
Indeed get well soon Norman. We're booked to support Wilko on Weds in Llangollen, but had a call off the promoter saying the gig has had to be pulled and will be rearranged.
