Trace Elliot SMX GP 12 issue, sorted, have you ever done something just as silly?

did a gig at the weekend with full PA, with the XLR plug into the back the EQ (and the preshape but I don't use that) section refused to switch on, still didn't when I uplugged the XLR after the gig but just tried it at home and it works fine, I know this can be an issue with SMX's but I was wondering if it could have been caused by the XLR feed to the mixing desk

ok I think I've figured it, looks like I could have plugged one of the speaker jacks into the footswitch socket by mistake (they're next to each other on the back panel), no harm done

doh indeed, won't be doing that again, good job I was using 2 cabs otherwise I'd have really started panicking, I'm sure other's have done something just as silly, haven't they?, ought to start a thread
