Theory question

Right at the very end of this session guys' jam someone ( sax player ? ) says " Love that E flat ! " .
What is he referring to ?

Or perhaps he doesn't like the bass player and is being sarcastic saying 'love the E, fat'.

Maybe they're referring to one of the properties owned by the bassplayer, the one in question being the only one in East London.

Almost correct, he's clearly referring to a Flatliner, also known as a 'Flat', which was a particularly pokey pill back in the early 90s. He has a fair point, everyone loved those.

Pretty sure the pianist plays an Eb somewhere between 6:30 and 7.20. That was probably it. Nice to see God on bass - always knew he was one of us.
