garbev
'Evening all, I've had this beauty for around a year, but I'm not playing enough gigs on fretted to keep it, the pimped Lakland I have takes care of them. I'ts got a Swamp ash body with a Burl Malee droptop, 34"scale Maple and wenge neck with a lovely Birdseye Maple fingerboard, 18m spacing at the bridge. The pickups are Seymour Duncan in a MM/J configuration. The MM is the Alinco model with Series/Parallel/Single Coil switching. Preamp is Shuker 3 band, with mid frequency pot in the cavity. The sounds great and very versatile nails the mm sound even on the B string also does a great J and P range of sounds. The neck is very comfortable, with a shallow profile back to front, also the bass is lightweight, much lighter than my Lak , Zoot 5 or MiJ Jazz. It's in terrific condition, well looked after, can't see any fretwear Ideally I'm looking for a trade deal with a Pedulla Pentabuzz or a 4 sting Buzz I'd also consider a Eub, Steinberger? or higher end J type. I have some cash to add to trade for the right instrument. Some Pixs: I'm based in South Wales but will travel to work out a trade. Thanks, Gary. Golchen
Great looking instrument! Would you trade it for a huge wad of cash if I laid it out in the shape of a bass?
