alembic1989
I have a customised Kramer fretless with an Aluminium neck. The action is pretty good..but there seems to be a 'generous' amount of relief (forward bow). At some point I think it will need straightening...does anyone know of anyone out there with the necessary expertise? Any pointers in the right direction would be gratefully received. steve-soar
The only way you will be able to sort this is by removing the frets and having the finger board planed straight, then refretted and levelled. Sorry.

Easy job then for any skilled luthier.
BigRedX
Unfortunately, it's not an easy job. The fingerboard is ebanol rather than wood, so probably won't take very kindly to being planed. There are several people in the US with the required expertise and proper equipment to straighten the neck for you but it won't be cheap. If it's not done correctly you will have problems with the non-aluminium sections separating from the aluminium ones. The best place to ask for advice and find who can do this for you is the Kramer Aluminium Forum. Good luck.
