bubinga5
Maybe I wasn't clear, but that is exactly my point! I'd much rather hear the occasional bum note than listen to mechanically 'cleaned up' vocals.
Yeah you threw me there. Are you saying that the vocals are digitally enhanced.? Dad3353
True, my ears are 'shot' (a technical term...), but I can't hear any pitch correction in that clip. True, there's a 'framptonesque' voice box, but that's not the same as vocoding, I'd say, and is certainly not 'cheating'. All in all, the sessions I've listened to seem to be exemplary for the clarity of the take, especially as a 'live', all together one-shot, and special mention must go to the drummers, each able to put to rest the myth that drums have to be loud. Not many of the artists are wearing ear protection, it seems; the one or two I've seen are rather using iem's. Good Stuff all round, and a Good Find; thanks for posting 'em. Danuman
Yes, it's quite inconsequential. I stand by my opinion - but it's just that; I'm sorry for bringing a negative tone to a good natured thread. @Bubinga5, I've enjoyed many of your contributions, so thanks for sharing. I do hope you all don't mind my nitpicking.

I would bet all the tracks are mixed like any full blown pro recording. I love the show. Blue

However the whole session had a great feel, you could see how DB was in awe of DH by the way she was looking at him, yet she was musically and vocally his equal (IMHO).
