Suggestions for carry case for 2U amp

Currently lugging a splendid Orange OB1-500 in a shallow rack case that appears to be made of dark matter.

I don't really want one of the fabric rack cases, I'd rather just have a protected carry/gig bag that the head can go in & out of.
I'm sure some of you splendid peeps will have risen to this challenge in the past.

I use a Spider pedal case for mine from flightcase warehouse (can't remember if it's the small or medium, it's not exactly featherweight but it's very well built and spot on size wise. In and out as quick as a bag.

I keep my Eden WT550 in a shallow 2U Gator case. It fits so perfectly I couldn't quite believe it. It's not heavy, but I suspect it's not quite as light as you might like.

I know you've said bag, but I'd like to shove another vote in for the gator shallow cases. I've got 2 of the 4U ones and they're great. Really lightweight and so sturdy.

I use the SKB X rack shallow cases, very good too.
Used to use a Gator bag for my GK amp, fitted perfectly and did the job okay.

I'm really looking for something along the lines of the handbag for the Orange Bass Terror, or Markbass TTE, sorta sports bag thing.

Seriously. Fishing gear is (relatively) cheap, very rugged, and usually waterproof.

I've been fishing for 50 years this very week (9 year old, went with my best mate 1st week of school hols 1967).
I'd still never have thought of that though .

I've a 2u fabric bag (think it is Gator) for my EBS head and it's been great will check tomorrow and let you know what it is as would highly recommend it.

I was just about to post something like this - I had one of these bags for my GK 1001RB II. Given the weight of that amp these bags should be suitable for most amps

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I have the same problem with my OB1.

I want a rack case or a sleeve that isn't too deep since my cab is shallow. My existing 2u flight case (a) is way too deep and ( won't allow the amp in due to the rubber feet!

Is it ok to remove the feet?

Anyone have experience with the Pulse 2u sleeve? £25 from loads of places but I'd rather have somethingg shallower.

I've got one of those 'soft on the outside with rigid frames' things. It's a Gear4music own brand. They do 2U up to 4U, have front and back openings, a pouch on top for cables etc and a carrying handle. V useful for my GK amp.
