steve-soar
I did something similar to my KGB headless in 1990 and instantly regreted it. This is a total abortion, made worse by the fact that he has gone through to the wood on the back of it. A complete refinish makes this bass worth £3-400. What a tit. Dread Bass
I reckon fair enough do that to your bass if its your true love and you have no intention of selling it. He has basically just f***ed himself. got to agree with SS What a tit indeed.
kevbass
Looks very "reggae" to me, someone in a reggae band might see it and buy it
Kev
to be honest, i quite like it, i love quirky stuff, but there is no way in hell he will get anything greater than £450-£500 for it, you paint a stagg like that, not a bloody stingray! Tee
Kind of reminds me of the "True men don't kill coyotes" video.
budget bassist
To be fair if the guy wanted maybe 300-400 for it i would be interested if i had the money, buy it and refinish it.
mathewsanchez
To be fair it is still a stingray 5 with piezo, a good quality instrument even if it's not aesthetically pleasing to most people. I think it's still worth £500-£600 for what it is. And all the hardware seems to be in fine condition despite the 'custom paintwork' on the body.
