Excellent tones as the OP says, build quality & playability are great too. These look a bit lightweight in construction, but the reality is they are built like a tank. If you are a player that suffers from playing a heavy bass, these are perfect too. Not because of weight - mine was nearly 9lbs so they actually weigh as much as a traditional style bass. The on strap balance is perfect though, which is why there is virtually no pressure on your shoulder & therefore back when strapped on.
