We regularly pull £100 a man for 2 x 45 (well, we do more, but not much more than 2 hours) with a break, so this ain't good money. It is more regular, though, so I'm guessing he's after young desperate pros, or wannabe pros...

I would see this as being more like a full-time job, with a salary to match. There is a difference in approach between taking one's garden shears and clipping the hedge of a week-end, and doing it day in, day out as a professional council gardener, or changing the oil on one's car and being a garage mechanic. Four hours per stint is quite do-able, and the final salary, whilst not being enough to afford a Bentley (other high-cost cars are available...), it would certainly pay the rent for many. It's work, not just 'fun' for a night out. Would I do it..? Back then, I played for much longer for much less pay than that, and my playing improved no end as a consequence. Would I do it today..? Would that I could (physically...), but if I were young and fit again, I'd certainly give it a go. There are some here bemoaning the lack of live music. Well, here's an opportunity to redress that, in part.

Me too. It's not something I'd consider now to be honest but I may seriously have had a look at it years ago.

Interestingly as Blue's experience shows this was one of the guy's comments.
