Received in a part exchange. After a chat with the Mrs, decided it's not my cuppa tea.

Beautiful example of Laklands take on a P bass in a brilliant slightly sparkley candy apple red.

Lindy Fralin pickup.
Maple neck.
Rosewood board with blocks
Hipshot tuners

One chip in finish which is pictured.

Comes with a spare white pickguard.

Is the neck a J or P?
It's a nice middle ground. I've played Jazz basses with similar necks and P basses with similar also. I wouldn't say it's as narrow as a Jazz and I wouldn't say it's a thick as a bog standard P. I'd say it's a pretty comfortable half way between.

Crikey, bargain right there

Fully agree. I can't see it hanging around too long at this price!

Think the neck on my Skyline Decade is the same. Very slightly more substantial than a jazz neck. Same nut width.

Any ideas how old this is, and what pickup set it has?
It has a Lindy Fralin pickup, I think it's a 2010, not sure

Ive had two of these, and regret selling both. Almost the best P basses ive ever played. I wonder if this is my old one. That had a black pick guard on it. The standard one is white IIR.

Could be! I personally prefer the black.

Yeah, i cant stand white, and on a bass like this i felt a darker colour brought the colour out more. This was the same bass with a pearl PG on. quite a different look.

Anyway, good luck with the sale. these basses seem to get snapped up very quickly. Id have it if it wasn't for the ding in it.

I keep looking at this and thinking "you could put flats on it and then it'd really compliment your DJ5" and then sanity returns........someone buy this and save me from me (and then ultimately, the wife)
