Is there a handy way to get to page 10 of a thread that has 10 pages?

Hit the >> at the top left of the page?

If you're browsing the site via the mobile version, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "full version". The full version allows you to select a page or go to the last.
This functionality isn't available on the android version and I presume iPhone as well

Pressing the dot or star icon of a thread takes you to the first unread post (by you).

Once you click on page two, 30 will appear in the url box. Change that to 60, page three. Change that to 90, page four etc.

That advice was for the mobile version btw. On desktop, i think clicking the thread title accesses the pages and option to select first unread post and the latest post.

I've just realised that you mean the dot to the left of the thread before you actually open the thread, doh!

Hah - yeah. I was typing on the phone, while walking about, so it may have been too succinct. It's annoying when you press slightly too much of a finger on it and it opens the thread title option - which takes you to the first post. Gah!
