lukeward2004
Hey Folks Looks like Mike Biegel labs just released the next flavour of the classic MuTron 3 - looks pretty impressive: https://mu-fx.com/shop/pedals/micro-tron-iii/ I have one ordered and on its way to me, will post a full review when I get it but looks pretty tasty - nice small footprint, 9v DC, and sounds very close to the original MuTron 3 from what I can tell. dannybuoy
Economy delivery is $75 for a small pedal?! WTF
walshy
I've ordered one too!! Yep postage was a bit STEEP! Can't wait for it to arrive though!
CameronJ
That postage quote is ludicrous. Not for me, not today.
Thunderbird
Economy delivery is $75 for a small pedal?! WTF
and is there import duty on top of that if so even more bonkers
dannybuoy
Yup, they are using FedEx so import fees pretty much guaranteed, rather than the 50/50 gamble you take via regular post.
lowerbassment
Was also waiting for this release. Decided to skip for now also based on the shipping costs. If you buy direct from other pedal builders in that part of the world shipping costs tend to be around $35 give or take in my experience. Maybe this one ships in a golden box who knows.... Bo0tsy
They have used European distributors before (I got my Tru Tron 3x from Thomann). Hopefully if sales kick off they'll do so again, as agreed shipping costs are ridiculously high. I wonder also if the production models will have the labelling sorted out. Every picture I've seen of the Micro Tron III so far has the labels covered up by the knobs!
Quatschmacher
I posted about this a few months ago after watching the videos from NAMM. I am curious as to what these are like. Glad they've added the level knob. Price was a bit too steep considering the import duty. Also, I know it shouldn't matter, but the casing looks a bit amateur (though I'm sure the electronics will be top notch).
