AndyTravis Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Sat on the platform at Stoke having just swapped a Precision I'd put together from parts with a bass I've been after for a long time. A Yamaha BEX-4C in Blue It was a lovely bass I swapped - didn't think I'd move it on quickly but offered it to a nice chap who was bowled over by it. And I wanted the big blue bass! Needs a clean, and there's a bit of surface swirling, but...it'll be earning its keep soon enough so I'm not going to be to precious about it. https://instagram.com/p/BXc4fySjp3H/ Gratuitous platform shot! lee650 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I've always loved the look of these!! I'm having serious yamaha gas these days Quote
gary mac Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I had the orange version as well. Very nice. Quote
alyctes Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 These are lovely. I've got an orange one and a fretless (reboarded) in blue; my favourite basses. Nylon-wound strings go well on them Why Yamaha stopped building them I've no idea. Quote
CameronJ Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Ooft. I'm not normally a huge fan of brightly coloured basses but that looks very classy. Excellent work sir. Quote
Maude Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 They are fantastic basses. I have a tobacco burst one and it'll never leave me. Quote
