Schism in a major key

A mate of mine sent me this, it's Schism by Tool, but someone has adjusted the original recording so it's in a major key rather than a minor, it sounds great, (unsurprisingly) a completely different feel to the song.

Kind of reminds me of Pelican - happy post-metal

Somebody did a similar thing with Losing My Religion by REM and made it major, not minor. I think it sounds great.
