hookys6stringbass
I was listening to a guy playing his guitar with a FMB-1 today and I thought it sounded really good... kinda reminded me of my old Alembic F2-B in tone a bit. Anyway on the way home I thought I wish i'd tried it with the bass. I know it's a guitar pedal but I was wondering if anyone had tried it with there bass????? IncX
i owned it and without the help of things like sansamp ... this pedal is useless... it eats too much low end and it doesnt really sound that special. i sold it at a loss and was very happy to get rid of it. bad monkey owns this pedal. katri
I tried it in a music store along with a 65 reverb pedal(the other fender/boss pedal) the bassman was disapointing the reverb was great
Dosi Y'Anarchy
Yeah i remember this pedal has been mentioned on TalkBass a few times. By all accounts, its not a bass pedal, which is a real shame. I got the chance to play through my mate's dad's 70's Bassman Ten last night, and it sounds beautiful. Boss should have taken into account that in alot of places the Bassman pedal has been marketed as a bass pedal.
