Off to listen to the original and see who got closest.... I'll be back. Yep 2) Hands down. 1) Needs to actually listen to what the rest of them are playing instead of showing his ass. Sorry if this offends anyone but I actually find that sort of "look at me I'm a Youtube star" stuff irritating. NancyJohnson Posted August 12, 2017 Share Posted August 12, 2017 While I prefer the tone on the finger-style version (the second one), the guy's face between 30-45 seconds represents everything I just detest about cover bands; that smugness and grimacing, the mistake at about 3'20" followed by the slapping get-out and wry smile. [/quote] I read something a while back about bedroom guitarists...they don't gig, they don't write their own material, they just play over backing tracks and video themselves until they get a decent take, then push it up onto You Tube. Look, I know the above is a massive generalisation, but there's a lot of truth in this.
