AndyTravis
Just happened across a very tidy Yamaha BB. It's in great nick but the gold hardware makes it look bad. It's sort of like a gorgeous woman with a gob full of bad teeth... Rather than change the hardware, I'd like to know if anyone has had success getting hardware replated? It's gold and I reckon I'll just keep it that way...
AndyTravis
My friend makes trumpets for a living and is going to replate it. Great success...
dyerseve
The other option is to shot-blast it to remove the gold hardware. I've done it with the gold hardware of my old Streamer and it looks so much better and cost me nothing as I can do it myself at work! NickRiffed
I wish I had a friend who makes trumpets. Need two sets of gold humbuckers and some other bits of hardware replated.
yorks5stringer
People pay a fortune for a reliced instrument, just embrace the difference!
