Mickeyboro Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) Just caught the first hour on Sky of this 2005 show of Eric Clapton, Gary Brooker and friends playing a charity gig for a load of Hooray Henry/ettas. Guests: Ringo, Roger taylor, Katie M*lua (yuk), etc, etc. And the star of the show for me is - Dave Bronze. What a fantastically tasteful bassman. Maybe we should have a thread for underrated bass players. And he plays a Precision a bit like mine! Edited November 3, 2008 by Mickeyboro Quote
3V17C Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 i only caught the last five minutes of this, but i'm guessing with it being sky arts it'll be repeated some time soon. Think there is/was a thread somewhere for underated bass players, but yes, the man bronze was doing sterling work on his old beaten up P bass. peace c Quote
molan Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I saw Dave Bronze depping for someone at a pub gig a few years back. Thought he was a really solid player & I mean that as a compliment Seemed like a nice bloke too. Quote
