AndyTravis
Ah, that's lovely. I seem to think £4400 is a bit optimistic for a pro2e needing work?
Happy Jack
Over by about £2000, I'd say ...

Urban Bassman
This is JG1152. The bass that sold on eBay for £2300 few weeks ago. It looks like he's put a set of stings on ( badly) and perhaps given it a polish, not even replaced the knob, for a £2000 mark up...... I know he has/had a whole load of Yamaha's for sale.
NickA
Well over priced. You can get a nice shiny wood one for that much (and less). Bit of a mystique about these "original"/ "JG" models as there aren't many (in fact this is odd as it's got a JG number but is a pro2e - so a very early pro2 .. but the neck looks more recent. Anyways I'd rather have a "custom" (aka Mk1) with the final version of the electronics and the mahogany body.
Botanicman
He's a guy called Joey Moorewood and has this place. https://elitevintageguitars.com/category/wal-bass-pro-ii-e/ Has some wierd fetish for Yamaha SG guitars. All his prices are well over the top.
