gary mac Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Fender Mex 50's Classic Player. I'm impressed with the quality and very happy with the spec. Not generally a fan of white pick guards but I actually quite like it against the Shoreline Gold. franzbassist Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Looks good. Mint green would be bangin' on that finish too
ezbass Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) Nice. Shoreline Gold for the win. Edited August 17, 2017 by ezbass

bassbiscuits Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 That looks great - cool colour too. A refreshing change from the sunburst which all my fenders are! I like that sort of 50s maple neck look. V nice.
GuyR Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Any new strat day is a good day. That is a lovely combination. Enjoy.
42Hz Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Congrats. CP 50s are very nice. Especially for clean sounds and light dirt. Mine was very (VERY!) noisy when not touching the strings until I painted the cavities with conductive paint. Very worth the effort.

But worth it on my guitar.
roman_sub Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Some fenders do indeed suffer from poor shielding. easy fix if it bothers you though! Top looking axe btw
songofthewind Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Tasty. I loves me a Strat. Brown tort guard, mebbe?

edstraker123 Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Just picked up an American Professional in Olympic White - it feels and sounds phenomenal but what colour pickguard should I change it to ? Thinking black or cream pearl or abalone or the crazy gold glass sparkle fender one ? Any thoughts ?
songofthewind Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Dark red or brown tort guard would be luvverly on that.
