gareth
Why cross head screws on the guard?
LewisK1975
Very nice, is it a custom build from Fender Parts? And what Pickup is that?

LewisK1975
It's a looker for sure, with addition of 60's position Jazz pickup at the bridge it's have me GASsing badly.....
fftc
Looks great. Nice colour combination. Thank goodness it hasn't been ruined with the addition of a Jazz pick-up at the bridge!
Beedster
Hi Kev Really glad it got to you in one piece and on time (it's a sad reflection of the courier industry that constant hope and eternal gratitude are required of customers!). Now, the pickguard screws! I took off the pickguard yesterday to check the solder joints - not pretty, but functional - before I sent, and about 20 minutes after it was picked up I had that worrying "sh*t, did I put the screws back in" moment! If I didn't, please accept my sincere apologies and I'll get a set to you ASAP. If I did, just another sign of old age creeping in I guess! Enjoy the bass, it's the type of Precision I used to love, loud, bright, zingy and responsive. I've become more docile over time and now have an old '62 RI with very heavy flats and a rather muted, if not rather toneful, output Pleasure doing business with you mate Chris
Beedster
And yes, that bass does not need a J-PUP
Dandelion
Chris the bass arrived with a full complement of screws. I just saw fit to change them, new pick guard new screws sort of thing. I am very happy.

It's spectacular as it is. When I saw it first it reminded me of my '78, lovingly christened 'Deedee' by a former bandmate: [attachment=252080:Deedee.jpg] It's just that I'm loving my PJ at the moment. [attachment=252083:AM Elite PBass.jpg] No offence intended, YMMV etc!
