ITEM NOW SOLD.

Offers still considered...

I've decided to move this great bass on to a new home... so good news for someone looking for one of these?!

I've had the bass from new, for about 2 years. It's only seen some light playing, as it was purchased purely for tunes that need that low-B tightness. Non-smoking home.

The bass is very nice to play, as per a typical SR bass. The condition is very good, but shows minor signs of use (no major scratches, dents or anything like that though).

It has just had a complete set-up by a local luthier: Fret dress, fret levelling, fretboard polish; truss rod, action & intonation all set; etc.

I personally find the 35.5" low-B scale length a good compromise between the 37" of Dingwall and similar basses, but a definite improvement over standard 34".

Although not pictured, it does come with a Stagg hard-case, which has been pretty much unused.

I'd prefer any buyer picks up the bass, but I might consider posting - if the buyer pays for insured postage.

Other specs can be found on the Ibanez site for this bass:

Ive been curious about these since their release.

This is a lovely looking specimen and is currently posing a temptation problem for me - in the meantime while i wrestle with it and decide if i can justify it - have a free bump and GLWTS

Hi folk, Sorry I've not replied - basschat was failing to update me.

Based in Milton Keynes, but happy to travel to hand deliver (check first).

Also forgot to say the bass has just had a professional set up by a local guitar tech.

Still considering offers. Mostly interested in 6 string basses now.

Would a 7 string tickle your fancy?

Might do!  Do you know what the string spacing (bridge) is on that?

Sorry for the delayed reply. I am on my second week of no broadband at home (#talktalkaref*@kinguseless).

The Spector site says .66" at the bridge. If you are interested I'll take some pictures.

I'd be interested in some pictures. .66" is pretty perfect for me.
