Ken Smith BSR5MW - 5 String £1800

Ken Smith BSR5MW - 2002 sn. 5MW210202W.

It's time to move this stunning bass on (staying strictly 4 strings now). In my ownership the bass has never been gigged and only seen home use, so for its age, this KS is in great condition.

This is a 5 string, bolt-on model with a Tiger Maple core and Walnut wings - get the look of a neck-thru but the attack of a bolt-on! The 3-piece Maple neck hosts a Pau Ferro/Morado fingerboard set with 24 frets. The headstock has a 3+2 arrangement. Gold hardware.

As for electronics, it has a pair of KS humbuckers with a 3-band EQ (there are no dip switches).

It comes with the original KS hard case - though one of the catches doesn't work (this happened prior to me owning it).

I'm in no rush to sell, so no silly offers and unfortunately I won't ship this outside of the UK.

Potential trades - a nice Jazz or P (4 string) be it Custom Shop, Celinder, Alleva Coppolo, Nordy may tickle my fancy.

Hi Ken,

Based in Essex. It is a 9v system, and weight is approx 4.3kg.
