discreet Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Looks like it could be covering up a multitude of sins... Quote
SICbass Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Over a grand is a bit steep for a JV isn't it? Quote
ash Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 I think it's all a bit suspect the plate looks handmade and there is still the matter of the missing serial number. I may just point him in the direction of 21frets.....however eBay rules don't tend to let you send such details on messages these days. Quote
Bassassin Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017
Over a grand is a bit steep for a JV isn't it?
Without a JV serial neckplate it kind of isn't a JV. Done a fair bit of reading about 80s Squiers & the early days of Fender Japan under Kanda Shokai and never heard the slightest mention of a brass non-serial neckplate option. Hmmm indeed. Quote
