spectoremg Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Just watched this. I was surprised they couldn't fill a set with good stuff instead of the heavy metal they seem to have gravitated towards. And just when I was thinking all things metal up pops Brian Johnson for a quick Back in Black which was a nice touch. Chris Wolstenhome is one mighty bass (and synthax ) player. Quote
leroydiamond Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Great band. The Absolution album is a classic IMO. Their more recent material is not for me, but fair play to them. Great musicians. Quote
Norris Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 (edited) Quite a heavy set but very well executed ... except ... (and I am a fan) ... he's no Angus Young. Master of the guitar, excellent control of effects and feedback, can play flawlessly while leaping or rolling around the floor, brilliant showman - but I thought the BIB solo was a bit lame. There - I said it Chris was immense on the bass, although Mrs Norris said he looked like he had severe constipation belting out some of the harmonies Edit: Great to see Brian though!
