fleabag
Anyone know what model this is and wattage ? Are they pre - green face TE combos ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRACE-ELLIOT-2-X10-Bass-Amp/332374342861?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1431.l2649
lapolpora
These are Series 6 and have a valve in the preamp stage. I believe the first TE preamps to use valves that weren't the monstrous VA350/400 heads!

franzbassist
Yes, that's the GP12XV, which was the front end of a rack preamp, three valve heads, and the 1225V combo in the early 90s. I don't remember seeing them in a straight 2x10 combo though: the 1225V had offset 10" and two 5" drivers.
lapolpora
I used to have a 1225V. Nicely compact, like a Bergantino 2x10 cab. Weighs the same as my wife. Gorgeous tone.
