Ice de la aqua Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Hello, i have an original 63 Hofner senator bass. It has one pickup, however although it is the original one; it is broken, it doesnt produce the bass tone, only treble. I was wondering if there is any way of repairing it, or if anyone knows someone who can. If not, how to go about putting a new one in. It really plays beautifully apart from the pickup. Looking forward to hearing any advice. Thanks for reading. Quote

All i know is that when the tone knob is turned towards the low end it just gradually attenuates until silent. The pickup is quiet anyway. Quote
MoonBassAlpha Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Sounds more like a wiring fault than the pickup itself. Quote
