Opinions please : Inlays for 2018 CHB-1 Basses

(The mods have kindly given me permission to ask here)

Busy moving production of the CHB-1 basses from China to India (better quality by FAR) and need to choose fret marker inlays.

I can have blocks or crowns?

What would your pick be?

Blocks for me.

For some reason I associate the crowns with Gibson and no body needs to be saddled with that impression of build quality!

I voted crowns. Blocks are a bit too utilitarian and Fendery, and the CHB deserves something more stylish.

I do tend to gravitate to block inlays but the shape of the CHB-1 really suits crown!

+1 on the dots. Not a fan of blocks and/or large inlays

Blocks, Crowns are too Gibsony. Would make me worry about the headstock falling off...

I like the Spector crowns.

Seriously though, the two examples shown are a bit dull IMHO. How about long ellipsoids or some other unique shape that would become associated with the brand, like, er... Spector crowns.

I like a plain board, not many basses out there with non like the proper 90s bass collection basses.

Crowns are much classier IMHO!
