Bass collection Powerbass

Does anyone use a Bass Collection Power Bass? Would you recommend them - they look lovely "on paper" but do they have that P bass tone?

the power bass actually got me into precision basses id always had Yamaha's and a Musicman before, i then used one to try out some filter pedals on a whim in a guitar shop. It felt very well made and sounded like a P bass should. couldn't afford one at the time so ended up with a Squier of eBay but the power bass got me into them and now i only use Precision. I'd say there good basses but your probably best to go out and try and have a play on one!

Never played one , but can't remember ever reading anything bad about one on a forum , only positives given the price point

I had a bass collection ' Detroit ' bass and it was a blinder

i would definitely recommend them ,and i think the ' power ' bass is pretty much the same

Not tried the power bass but my #1 is a bass collection jazz, and it's a beauty. Apart from the hideous logo on the headstock of course! If I was going for a p bass I'd certainly be looking at bass collection again.

A friend of mine, Ad (aDx here) had one...spoke very highly of it. Only sold it because of his Tendinitis (I think).
