Very cool. Mateusz does a good job when it comes to vintage guitars. I bought a bass off him few years back and it was (still is) perfect.

Who would be able to distinguish the Fresher and Fernandes from all the Fenders? I think they sound equally good if not better.

Yes I think it was one of his videos that helped in my decision to buy a Matsumoku P. I was lucky in my purchase and I have a 76 P bass that sounds and feels incredible yet cost a small percentage of the 'real thing'.

The Fernandes sounds terrible on anything other than slap. The rest all sound good-ish. I think my favourite is one of the 1995 standard ones.

It's very encouraging to hear that all the fender ones sound extremely similar to one another apart from the one with the white pickups. it takes the angst out of decisions and explodes myths.
