thringmar_3000 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I may be changing to a different amp head, but I will lose a valued footswitchable volume boost for solos (on my Eden World Tour head). Does anybody know of a good effect pedal to accomplish the same thing, which works well with bass guitar? Quote
dudewheresmybass Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 The mxr micro amp is a clean boost. Works well with bass Another option is the ehx lpb1- but this can add extra gain, and will colour your tone ( but not necessarily in a bad way😉) Quote
Cuzzie Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Creation Audio mk4.23 24db Of clean boost - best on the market Quote
dannybuoy Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 (edited) TC Spark Mini, One Control Granith Grey, Mooer Pure Boost or MXR Micro Amp will do the job too. Edited September 29, 2017 by dannybuoy Quote
T-Bay Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 TC spark mini works perfectly for me. Quote
redbandit599 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Or you could use an EQ pedal, which would give you the option to just boost the frequencies that you want for solos. Quote
ben4343 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 faceless fx Jasmine boost. Beautiful clean thickener that can break up slightly if you want it to. Quote
fretmeister Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 DOD BiFet Preamp. Has a useful tone control as well. Or an EQ pedal. The MXR 10 band is very handy for this application. Quote
bazzbass Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 +1 for the Mooer Pure Boost, does what it says Quote
Painy Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I use a Joyo Roll Boost for this. Inexpensive, sturdy construction and works perfectly. Quote
Kebabkid Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Xotic EP-1 and it has internal dip switches to tailor the sound Quote
bassmayhem Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 This would be my choice, last in the effects chain, nice and quiet: Quote
