hooky_lowdown Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I was given a little peavey microbass amp, I like it, but it came without a nut/washer on the input jack - and it keeps cutting out as it moves around when I play. I brought a "Marshall" plastic 1/4 inch nut, which I thought would fit, but is too big. I understand there are "thin" 1/4 inch hex nuts, to fit fine threads. Does anyone know where I can buy just one hex nut and washer for this amp which is the correct size? Or does anyone have one I can buy from them? Quote
rmorris Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Yes - there are 'Fine Thread' Potenmtiometer fixing nuts. It's always a problem to get single pieces of small items like this. Prob this type of thing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M8-X-0-75-Pitch-Lock-Nut-For-Guitar-Pot-potentiometer-Pack-Of-5-50-100-/281867227480 Best option is ifg you can find a 'scrap' nut from something. Elese I've worked out it's cheaper to buy a pot and use the nut from it - from CPC etc... Quote
