Sean Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 The elephant ear part of my D string tuner on my L2500 kept falling out. Not completely but coming away from its fixing on the shaft. I messaged G&L through BookFace asking if they had any suggestions for a quick fix. I gave them the serial number and model. In the past they’ve been excellent and informative with responses. This time i was asked for my address and a new tuning machine arrived in the post seven days later. This is a sixteen year old instrument! Outstanding customer service and back up. Very impressed indeed. Quote
bazzbass Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 great to hear that is great customer service, and deserves mentioning. My good experience was with Hipshot. I bought a bridge used and had it lying around for a year before putting it on one of my basses. Trouble was the allen key for the saddle screws was missing and my tiniest one was way way too big.I emailed Hipshot asking if they could tell what size it was and could I buy one from them. They sent me SEVEN , free of charge from USA to Oz. Quote
Owen Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I have had truly exceptional customer service from Jule Potter (Monique) and Jim Bergantino. On kit I bought on the 2nd hand market so they had not actually seen any of my money. Quote
