NoRhino
Any Monday or Tuesday live music venues in Birmingham? No car so needs to be city centre. 16 17 October.
KingPrawn
The new Royal Birmingham conservatoire has opened. They have loads of free gigs, Check the website. Ikon Gallery is always worth a visit, Town hall etc. You should check out hare and hounds in Kingsheath and Moseley in general. 15 minute bus ride on the 50. The O2 and institute. The Custard factory.

Alternatively if you go to the Custard Factory, you have to go to the Digbeth Dining Club, which is a great night out (http://digbethdiningclub.com). I'll definitely be having a look at that the next time I'm there on the weekend, so cheers for the heads up. [/quote] They have some decent live music in the Digbeth Dining Club - we saw a superb blues band there a couple of weeks ago. If you do find a band you want to see there, head to the upstairs bar, as you can grab a table that overlooks the stage (and is close to a much quieter bar!) XoSo
If anyone does go to Digbeth Dining Club I run the pan-Asian stall there called Canoodle. We are there next October 20/21. Drop in and say hi!
