police squad
What a show. What a singer and my word, what a great band. The best gig I think I've ever been to.
yorks5stringer
Did she make you want to 'Shout'?
skidder652003
better than the police?!
petebassist
Last heard Lulu on a Beatles/Lennon tribute show thing on the radio a few years back and she sang Don't Let Me Down live. Amazing. Good to hear that she's still going strong.
casapete
Still an underrated singer, perhaps even better now than when she was younger.
chris_b
Years ago I saw her on TV doing a Bobby Bland song. Everyone covers BB songs from Joe Cocker down and this was one of the best versions I've heard. Lulu is/was wasted on pop songs.
chaypup
I was interested in going till I saw the ticket prices in Cardiff - £44 up in the gods and £72 for "VIP"
police squad
I paid 35 quid and sat in the 2nd row, in the middle, it was so close.
Hutton
Lulu is a very talented singer. I just wish that she wouldn't put on an accent when she speaks. Be proud of your roots and where you come from.
Phil Adams
Maurice used to ask her every morning how she felt. usually answered: Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell
Merton
Lulu and her band played at an event I played at a few years ago. They were bloody superb, I felt like a massive fraud being the band having to follow them!
gjones
[quote name='Hutton' timestamp='1507289173' post='3384517'] Lulu is a very talented singer. It doesn't sound very authentic.

These days the Big Yin sounds like he comes from Milngavie Years back Lulu sang in my old local, folks still say those were great nights. Dan Dare
She's a bit good, isn't she? She does (or did) a mean version of Duffy's 'Mercy'. I always liked that song, but hated the wimpy computerised compressed backing track. Saw Lulu doing it with a proper band and giving it the beans and it was fab'. blue
I've been a LuLu fan since To Sir With Love. Probably my favorite female pop vocalist from the UK. That lady can sing her butt off. Blue
leschirons
My wife suggested singing that at an open mic night so I quickly worked out the chords and we went for it. I'd forgotten what a great song it was. Shout, is the opening number in our band. It's a real attention grabber and goes down well.
leschirons
Are her band still called the "Luvvers"?
