Flat strings no silk?

Sadowsky Black Label flats have fairly discrete silks. They're a light grey that isn't very noticeable against the colour of the string. They're a bit darker and more old-school flatwound sounding than Chromes though.

When I suggested La Bellas, I was referring to no silk at the bridge end. They do have silks at the head end.

My short scale D'Addario flats do have blue silk, very similar to La Bellas. As you know, I only took them off one bass last night...

The Fender 9050CLs I use on occasion have quite a bright green coloured silk wrap.
